Anatolia Aero Design

Students who design, build and fly their own UAVs.

Anatolia Aero Design was founded by Prof. Dr. T. Hikmet Karakoç. Undergraduate and graduate students from different engineering programs design, build and fly their own aircraft and take them to competitions in Türkiye and the US. The team works out of its own workshop, with a fleet of UAVs built over the years.

My part

I joined as an undergraduate in 2013 and was the team’s chief designer and captain until 2020. Today I advise the team with Mustafa Azer and our pilot, Dr. İbrahim Yavuz Dal.
